Theda Smith Henschke poses at the Yorktowne Service Store in Bonneauville. The building was constructed for use as an automobile dealership. It was converted to a feed mill and general store operated by Leo Storm. In the 1960's the structure sat empty for a while. Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts then met there. Saturday morning movies were shown. In the 1970's and 80's a series of restaurant owners then tried their luck with the building.
The store was demolished in the early 2000's to make way for Gina's Place Restaurant. When Gina's closed, the place was renamed Bonneauville Diner. That business closed about 2012. The building is currently empty. (1/29/14)
