The garden plot and the field in the foreground were part of the 2 W. Hanover St. property. Two houses now occupy the site. One is that of Roger Weaver. The other, a small brick rancher, was built in the 1960's from a one-room schoolhouse torn down in the county. The barn in the far background at left stood where Brother's Pizza is now located. The trees at center are fencerow shagbark hickories that supplied townsfolk with hickory nuts for the better part of a century. They border the Ambrose and Bertha Myers Farm.
