| Item History: | In the mid-1970's, Dennis and Shirley Hare conducted a ceramics making business at their home on Maple Street in Bonneauville, PA. In 1978 the order for this washbowl and pitcher was placed. It was to be a blue glazed bowl and pitcher with highlighted crackling. Being new to the business the couple did not realize that they would have to trace every inch of every individual crack in the glaze with a black ink filled fountain pen, to acheive the previously agreed upon look. |
