Title:

Binder; "Twenty-Two Early Wallpaper Samples from St. Joseph's Rectory."

Item History:

St. Joseph's Rectory of Bonneauville was constructed about 1862. The rectory was razed in 2013. During dismantling, beneath layers of paint and wood paneling were many examples of decorative wallpaper that spanned the time of the construction of the building, up to the 1970's. There were at least six layers of paper on some walls. Twenty-two examples were collected. Several layers could not be separated for display.
