Windsor Shoe Company, Littlestown, PA employees and their families gather for a day of fun at Willow Beach Park, Hanover, PA. WWII had begun but the US was not yet directly involved. All of the vehicles in the background appear to be newer than the popular Ford Model "A" of the 1930's, indicating that the business may have been a good place to work. Banners held by front row participants state; "1st Annual Windsor Shoe Company Field Day." Background, right of center, participants forego a photo opportunity in favor of a merry-go-round ride.
