|Title:||Auction bill for the property of Kenneth U. Appler, 1961.|
Until 1961, Kenneth U. Appler farmed on the Two Taverns Road just south of Bonneauville. It took two days of auction selling to liquidate the farm machinery and dairy herd he had gathered during his farming career. Everything from Farmall tractors to a riding pony and a 1952 Ford truck to a young bull sired by "Harden Duke," was sold.
Mr. Appler chose Clair Slaybaugh as his auctioneer. This bill was one of many that remained with Mr. Clair Slaybaugh , auctioneer, until a portion of Clair's estate was sold at auction on 11/15/14.
