The obverse of this postcard depicts a pleasant summer beach scene and the words, "Greetings from." Generic cards of this type were purchased in quantity from a dealer and sold as souvenirs at beaches or other tourist destinations. As part of the cost, the purchaser was given a choice of wording which was written in glue on the card. The wet glue was then sprinkled with sparkle and dried. "Bonneauville. Pa." was the choice for Bernice Foulk who addressed this card to Ruth Baker of Gettysburg, PA. There is no stamp and no postmark.
