|Title:||Book; "Gettysburg, Paintings by Mort Kunstler." 1993.|
Pages 62 - 66 beautifully depict the intensity of the 1863 cavalry charge at the East Cavalry Field, west of Bonneauville, PA. The print brings to the forefront of the imagination, what Bonneauville resident Lizzie Gilbert might have seen and heard when she was an eight years old and living in Bonneauville during the battle of Gettysburg. "We all thought we were going to die," she told me when she was elderly and I was living my childhood days.
