Title: Overview; Dave and Virginia Sentz Collection.

After living in White Hall for a time. Mr. and Mrs Sentz moved to a new Butler Stone rancher that he himself erected at 3545 Hanover Road east of Bonneauville in the early 1960's. It was there that he and Virginia raised their three children; Joan, Wayne, and Barry, and a step child named Louella.

This collection contains school booklets from the one-room schoolhouse called Valley School, which was located east of Bonneauville.

Virginia's maiden name was Harner. A few pieces owned by her parents are in the collection.

Virginia Sentz and Patricia Shanebrook of Bonneauville worked together at Windsor Shoe Factory in Littlestown, PA for a while.

The Sentz' were members of Saint Lukes Luthern Church located just east of Bonneauville on the Littlestown/White Hall Road. Several prayer books are included.

Mr. Sentz worked as a carpenter until his employment with Westinghouse Elevator Co., in Gettysburg, PA about 1970.

Virginia's parents were William and Annie Harner. In later life they lived beside Dave and Virginia on the Hanover Road east of Bonneauville. Virginia was married to a gentleman named Good until he passed away after about three years of marriage. The Goods had one child named Louella. Virginia married Dave Sentz and Louella was adopted as a Sentz. Dave and Virginia had three children together: Joan, Wayne and Barry.

Dave Sentz was a WWII veteran. During the war he remained stateside at Norfolk, VA, "because he had three dependents."
