Title: Recipe; "Yum Quack," or "Gum Quack"
Item History:

This small, difficult to read, handwritten recipe for ? was found in the Mamie Neiderer scrapbook; "Yum Quack: One ouence [sic] pint wiskey to one quart wiskey and then let it resolve then take a dose every day." The Reverse of the Yum Quack recipe is penned; "John S___ ????." Apparently the simple recipe had quite an effect on John.

Translation note from German born Christel Lakata: "The words in the recipe don't sound German. I agree with your translation; I would exchange the Y with a capital G perhaps, which would make into GUM, but I still don't know what they mean."

"It seems that whiskey was available in abundance. And it seems the author of the recipe partook quite generously, especially looking at the scribbles on the last photo. I agree with your translation."
