This sign is from the 1970's estate sale of Mr. and Mrs. Paul "Scotchie" Chrismer of Bonneauville, PA. The Paul Chrismer house is located on the north side of West Hanover Street. Mr. Chrismer, a veteran of WWII, operated a weld shop at his house in the 1950's. He also owned a bull dozer and did excavating work. Paul dug a pond on the acreage behind his house around 1957. With his kind permission Bonneauville children often ice skated on his pond. In the years that I (Karl Orndorff) skated and trapped muskrats there in the early 1960's, I do not ever recall seeing this sign posted.
