Written in German, this may be the Jacob Miller who lived in Bonneauville, PA. Mr. Miller was a Civil War Captain from Bonneauville (165th Reg.PA Volunteers). After the war Jacob Miller became a farmer, mortician, furniture maker and carpenter. He and his crew constructed many of the houses on the first block of Maple St. in Bonneauville, PA. One of the houses served as his funeral parlor. Another served as his casket and furniture factory.

The letter is addressed to Abraham Kluck, a carpenter. It was postmarked at Elizabethville, Dauphin County, PA.
