This map is from a disassembled "Atlas of Adams County Pennsylvania", 1872. Mount Pleasant is highlighted in green. Inset are the towns of White Hall and "Newville, Square Corner PO." (now Bonneauville).
Newville (Bonneauville) Street names were: Gettysburg St.(now W. Hanover St.), Center St.(now E. Hanover St.), Hanover St., (now E. Hanover St.), Oxford St.(now Cedar St.), High St. (now Maple St.), South St. (now Locust St.), and Littlestown St. (now Maple St.).
Newville property owners indicated: B. Landis, M. H. Forrey, A. Hartlaub (hotel), A. H. Detrick (store and P.O.), J. Kuhn, Parsonage, R. C. Church, Dr. A. Noel, A. Hartlaub, Dr. T. O. Kinzer, F. M.
