The complete title of this 2,680 page book is; "Lippincott's Gazetteer of the World or a Complete Pronouncing Gazetteer Geographical Dictionary of the World", 1883, Philadelphia, J. B. Lippincott & Co. Noted on the cover page is; "Containing notices of over one hundred and twenty five thousand places with recent and authentic information respecting the countries, islands, rivers, mountains, cities towns etc. in every portion of the globe."

On page 264, col. two, at top can be found "Bonneauville". The brief description reads in full; "Bonneauville, bon' no vil, a post hamlet of Adams County, Pa., About 36 miles S. by W. of Harrisburg. It has two churches and a plough factory."

During my decades of research on the town of Bonneauville I have never seen any reference to a plough factory located in the town. Proof that one did exist would be quite interesting.
